A new generation of
Indian agro exporters
Alstoe India Exports is a Delhi-based agro products exporter supplying rice, spices, makhana, dehydrated vegetables and herbal powders to importers, distributors and food businesses worldwide. We were built around a simple idea: that global buyers deserve an Indian export partner who tests every consignment honestly, communicates clearly, and treats every order as the start of a long relationship.
Building an Indian export
partner the world can trust
Most Indian agro exporters are decades old, transaction-driven and unwilling to change. We started Alstoe to build the opposite kind of company: one that takes specifications seriously, tests honestly, and treats every buyer relationship as a partnership.
Alstoe India Exports is a Delhi-based agro products exporter focused on rice, spices, makhana, dehydrated vegetables and herbal powders. We work with farmers and processors across eight Indian producing states and supply importers, distributors, food processors, retail brands and private label buyers in target markets across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America and Southeast Asia.
India is the world's largest exporter of many of the products we deal in. The country produces about 75% of global turmeric, ships 36% of the world's red chilli, accounts for 90%+ of global makhana (fox nut) supply and is the largest Basmati rice exporter on earth. The opportunity is enormous; the average buyer experience is not. Inflated curcumin claims, surprise quality variance between sample and shipment, late documentation, vague communication and unreliable lead times are common complaints among importers who have worked with Indian suppliers.
We believe a new-generation Indian exporter can do better. Our approach is built around three commitments. First, every consignment is tested at NABL-accredited laboratories with the actual results recorded on the Certificate of Analysis, not estimates. Second, we work directly with origin: with sourcing relationships in the producing belts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar and Meghalaya, we can verify quality at the source rather than at the port. Third, we are transparent about pricing, timelines and any constraints that affect your shipment.
We are fully certified for international trade with registrations from APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India), the Spices Board of India and an active IEC (Import Export Code) issued by the Government of India.
We are early in our journey and we are honest about that. What we offer is not decades of legacy claims. What we offer is rigorous quality control, complete documentation, hands-on attention to every order, and the kind of long-term partnership mindset that grows businesses on both sides.

We source directly from origin states, not from secondary middlemen. Direct sourcing gives us better quality control, more competitive pricing, faster turnaround and complete supply transparency for our buyers.

Lab-first. Document-complete.
Sample-before-shipment.
The single biggest complaint global importers have about Indian suppliers is quality variance: the sample looks great, the shipment looks different. Our entire workflow is built to prevent this.
NABL Lab Testing
Every consignment is tested at NABL-accredited laboratories before dispatch. HPLC for curcumin, ASTA for colour, SHU for pungency, full microbiological and pesticide MRL panel. Results recorded on the Certificate of Analysis.
Sample-First Approach
Buyers approve specifications via lab-tested samples before order confirmation. Sample COA matches shipment COA. No surprises between approval and arrival at the destination port.
EU & FDA Compliance
We test against the stricter of EU MRL (Regulation 396/2005) or US FDA limits, including lead in turmeric (FDA 2.5 ppm), Sudan dyes (absent), aflatoxin (below 10 ppb total) and salmonella (absent in 25g).
Complete Documentation
Phytosanitary, Certificate of Origin, Spices Board certificate, COA, fumigation certificate, packing list, BL, commercial invoice, plus destination-specific docs (FDA Prior Notice for USA, EU Health Certificate, Halal, SASO for Saudi). Per shipment, on time.
Third-Party Inspection
Optional pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek at buyer cost. We do not refuse third-party verification because we have nothing to hide; we encourage it for first-order buyers building confidence.
Transparent Specifications
We quote specifications honestly. If a variety typically delivers 3 to 4% curcumin, that is what we tell you. We do not inflate numbers to win an order and then disappoint at delivery. Realistic ranges beat broken promises.

FSSAI
Food safety regulator under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Required for all food product handling, processing and export across categories.
IEC

From your first inquiry to
customs clearance, in five steps
A consistent process for every order, regardless of product category or destination. Standard turnaround from confirmed order to vessel loading is 15 to 25 days depending on variety availability, packaging requirements and lab testing schedule.
When I started Alstoe India Exports, my goal was simple: to build the kind of Indian agro export partner I would want to work with as a buyer.
Too many Indian export companies treat buyers as transactions. They make claims that do not hold up at the lab. They quote one price and ship at another. They are slow on documentation and slower on communication. The result is a global perception of Indian exports as cheap but unreliable, when the reality is that India produces some of the finest agro products in the world.
I wanted to build something different. A new generation Indian agro exporter that takes specifications seriously, tests every consignment honestly, responds within hours instead of days, and treats every buyer relationship as a long-term partnership rather than a single trade.
We are early in this journey. We do not claim decades of legacy or thousands of shipments. What we do claim is rigour, transparency and accountability. Every quote we give, every COA we issue and every commitment we make is something we can stand behind in writing.
If you are an importer or distributor evaluating Indian suppliers, I would welcome the conversation. We can discuss your requirement in detail and you can decide for yourself whether we are the right fit. I respond to all serious inquiries personally within 24 hours.
Honest commitments,
upfront
Most exporter websites overpromise. We would rather be honest about what we offer and what we do not. Here is the unvarnished version.
A serious, transparent Indian agro export partner
We have built our operation around the things that actually matter to global buyers: quality control, documentation, communication and accountability. Specifically, we offer:
- Direct sourcing relationships in 8+ Indian producing states
- Full certifications from APEDA, FSSAI, Spices Board and DGFT (IEC)
- NABL-accredited lab testing on every consignment, with HPLC for curcumin and ASTA for chilli colour
- Lead, aflatoxin, MRL and Sudan dye testing per EU and FDA standards
- Complete export documentation including destination-specific paperwork (FDA Prior Notice, EU Health Certificate, Halal, SASO)
- 24-hour quote turnaround on detailed inquiries
- Sample-first approach with written specification approval before any shipment
- Transparent pricing in writing, valid for a defined window (typically 7 to 15 days)
- Optional third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek at buyer cost
- A long-term partnership mindset, not a single-transaction one
We will not pretend to be something we are not
You will not find inflated claims on this page. We believe transparency builds more durable trust than legacy claims. Specifically, we do not claim:
- Decades of export experience (we are early in our journey, and we are honest about that)
- Thousands of completed shipments (we are building this number with care, not inflating it)
- Testimonials from buyers we have not yet served
- Volume statistics we cannot verify with shipping documents
- Country counts we have not yet exported to (we list target markets, not fabricated ones)
- Curcumin or ASTA values that our lab cannot back up
- Pricing that changes between quote and invoice
- Lead times we cannot deliver on
Let's start the conversation
